Location: Lark Hill
We are looking for an experienced Project Officer to support development and delivery of the council's activity on health and sustainability strategies and action plans. You will have good knowledge and be able to advise colleagues and stakeholders on health inequalities, fuel poverty, cost of living and environmental issues.
- The candidate will need to be educated to A Level standard and will need to have Maths and English GCSE's grade 4 or above
- Have at least one year's experience of working with customers/ communities.
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work with a range of partners in a collaborative manner.
- This is a part time role (18.5 hours per week) but we would consider offering additional hours for specific project work over the next 3 years.
- You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post.
- This job includes duties that may require an element of physical exertion and mobility on an occasional or frequent basis.
- The post is open to hybrid working.
- Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
