Housing Enforcement & Licensing Officer – 2-Year Fixed Term
Hull City Council’s Private Housing Environmental Health team is recruiting a full-time Enforcement/Licensing Officer on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role supports statutory duties under the Housing Act 2004 and Renters Rights Act 2025, including inspecting housing, serving notices and enforcing compliance to improve private rented housing in the city.
Responsibilities- Inspect rental properties to ensure compliance with housing standards.
- Serve notices and enforce regulations against non-compliant landlords.
- Manage a portfolio of properties for ongoing monitoring.
- Gather evidence for enforcement actions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote safe housing environments.

Contract:
Permanent (on a 2-year fixed-term basis)
