What We Offer
Salary: £15,927 rising to £16,261 per year (Full time equivalent £25,304 - £25,835 per year)
Contract Type:
Permanent, Part Time 26 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+3 weeks per year
Working pattern:
Mon – 8.30-1.30 no breaks (5) Tue - off Wed – 8.30-16.min break (7) Thurs.min break (7) Fri – 8.30-16.min break (Subject to change annually based on business need/timetabling)
Year-Round Employment:
No unpaid breaks between contracts

What You’ll Do
• Prepare salon areas and equipment for daily teaching sessions
• Support lecturers and students during practical hairdressing sessions
• Maintain and clean salon tools, equipment, and workstations
• Monitor and manage stock levels of salon products and supplies
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and hygiene regulations
• Launder and maintain salon towels, gowns, and uniforms
• Assist in maintaining a professional, client-ready salon environment
• Support ordering and organisation of equipment and materials
What You’ll Bring
• Experience in a hairdressing or salon environment
• Knowledge of professional salon standards and hygiene practices
• A highly organised and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching and technical support team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
A relevant hairdressing qualification Level 2 or above.
