Hairdressing Apprentice

Introduction

Assist and learn from stylists on how to provide The Cutting Company hairdressing services to our valued clientele, support other salon members with their duties at the same time as achieving your Apprenticeship in Level 2 in Hairdressing.

A large luxury Hair & Beauty Salon trading and training for 33 years. Education is a passion of ours and we keep our team up to date on new trends. Premium brands are used and sold throughout the business.

You will work alongside experienced stylists, gaining hands‑on salon experience while developing the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified hairdresser.

• Assist senior stylists in delivering high‑quality hairdressing services to clients
• Learn and support hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing techniques
• Greet clients professionally and provide excellent customer service
• Prepare clients for services, including shampooing and conditioning hair
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised salon environment
• Support other salon team members with daily duties as required
• Attend all off‑the‑job training and assessments as part of the apprenticeship

May lead to potential employment as a designer on our shop floor. This is completely dependent on how the individual develops throughout their qualification and what availability we have in the salon.

Course:
Hairdressing professional (Level2) – Route:
Hair and beauty – Apprenticeship Level: Intermediate.

• Working week: 9:00am – 5:30pm and at least 1 (possibly
  2) late shift 11:30am – 9pm, 8:30am – 5pm on Saturday
• A day off in the week
• Expected duration: 2years
