Job Purpose:

To be passionate about grooming and assisting in the development of the salon team to deliver the highest standards in grooming. Excellent customer service & communication skills to assist with driving sales in salon.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible in day-to-day running of the salon; all preparatory, full groom work and all administrative roles in salon
Active role with hands-on dogs; including but not limited to clipping, styling and scissor work to breed standard including hand-stripping on a variety of breeds
Able to complete a full groom of a dog in a maximum 1.5-hour timeframe
Maintain exceptional Salon Store Standards across all customer facing and back of house areas
Responsible for salon KPIs and objectives including providing excellent customer service
Take part in all training activities to develop commercial and managerial skillset ? Responsible for day-to-day guidance of the salon team including training of new starters and existing team
Assist in Retail to deliver exceptional customer service when demand allows
Ensure personal compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ensure all Health & Safety compliance is up to date within the store legislation
Personal Competencies
2 years experience in dog grooming  a variety of breeds to breed standard
Be willing to learn and develop a sound knowledge of all salon activities including commercial and people management
Able to lead from the front and role model desired behaviours in salon
Influence your team to deliver salon objectives
Is positive, supportive and flexible team player
Brings high levels of energy and commitment to the business
Has a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude ? Good time management
