Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AHP Senior Manager & Professional Lead within Acute Services working across University Hospital Crosshouse and University Hospital Ayr.

Hours And Shift Pattern

This is a Full-time post, worked over 5 days per week. You will also participate in the acute site leadership out of hours on call rotas. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

What You Will Do

The post holder is responsible and accountable for the delivery of AHP Services – Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy – across Acute Services. You will provide operational management, strategic and professional leadership, governance and development for all members of this AHP workforce. As a senior member of the pan Ayrshire Allied Health Professions Leadership team, the post holder will also lead on AHP change initiatives and hold a number of AHP responsibilities within their portfolio.

Qualifications
  • You must have a relevant AHP professional qualification and active registration with HCPC.
  • You will be educated to Masters Degree level, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of relevant continuous professional development is also essential.
  • You will bring evidence of senior service management/leadership roles and developing innovative and creative solutions to achieve organisational objectives.
  • You will demonstrate in depth understanding of clinical governance principles and the development of systems and frameworks to establish clear accountability.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
