Cherrywood Project

The Cherrywood Project is based in the Elderslie area of Paisley. We are a 9‑bedded service working over two bungalows. We support individuals with profound needs and autism; the residents have lived together for a long time and are very settled. We have a great team here at Cherrywood and would like for you to come and join us and develop your social skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

and Expectations
  • Assist individuals with personal care and everyday activities, including bath and medication management.
  • Communicate and build positive relationships with the people we support by adapting your style to suit their needs.
  • Work with the people we support through their personal support plans to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved and celebrated.
  • Maintain a positive and flexible outlook, working both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • The ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
  • The commitment to work with the people we support through their personal support plans to ensure people achieve their goals and outcomes and celebrate their successes.
  • A positive and flexible outlook to your work, and the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

We do not require prior experience; training will be provided. All we want is a good listener who is compassionate and patient.
