Location: Bridge of Allan

As a Support Worker within our Mental Health services, you will be part of a team providing safe, respectful and person-centred care to residents and service users in both residential and day care settings.

Your role will focus on supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting independence and helping them maintain a good quality of life.

You will work closely with colleagues to deliver care in line with individual care plans, contribute to reviews and support residents to take part in everyday activities at home and in the community. You will work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and overnight shifts, and take part in training and supervision to support your ongoing development.

What you will do

* Provide day-to-day care and support in line with individual needs and care plans

* Act as Keyworker, contributing to care planning, reviews and record keeping

* Support personal care, medication and health needs under guidance of senior staff

* Encourage independence, choice and participation in daily and community activities

* Welcome families and visitors and support positive relationships

* Work collaboratively as part of a team and attend meetings, training and supervision

What we are looking for
You will have experience in a social care or support setting, or a genuine interest in working within mental health services. A recognised social work or nursing qualification is desirable but not essential. You will bring a calm, respectful and compassionate approach, basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a rota. You must be registered with SSSC, be a member of the PVG Scheme, and be able to work within and uphold Cross Reach’s Christian ethos, which is an occupational requirement for this role.
