Overview

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Crookhey Hall School. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. They will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus, target led, via the OFG clinical ways of working embedded into our practice. They will coordinate the line management of the onsite clinical team and lead on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead. Our Clinical Teams help maintain a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach, putting pupils at the forefront of everything we do.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the in-house clinical team and supervise service delivery.
  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need.
  • Collaborate with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead on clinical strategy and service development.
  • Manage EHCP-related targets and monitor progress using OFG clinical methods (all/groups/individual).
  • Provide line management for onsite clinical staff and support professional development within the team.
  • Maintain a safeguarding-focused, person-centred approach in all activities.
  • Engage with multi-professional teams and foster collaboration across settings as required.
Qualifications
  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology or Psychotherapy.
  • Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., BPS).
  • Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently and within a growing, developing clinical service.
  • Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
