As a Care Worker, you will provide hands on support to residents, supporting personal care, daily routines and social engagement while promoting dignity, privacy and choice. You will join a close knit team within a safe and homely care home, with both part time and full time opportunities available.
You will play an important role in the day to day life of the care home, supporting residents to feel comfortable, cared for and respected. Working alongside colleagues, you will help maintain a calm, welcoming environment where residents receive consistent, high quality care.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Providing personal care in line with individual care plans
- Supporting residents with daily routines, meals and hydration
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Supporting social interaction and meaningful activities
- Building positive relationships with residents and their families
- Working as part of a team to maintain a safe, clean and well run home
- Keeping clear and accurate records
You will be a caring and dependable person who enjoys working with older people and being part of a team. You may already have experience in a care home or similar setting, or you may be new to care and keen to learn. You will be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold it, and you will be comfortable working shifts including evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
