About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Support Worker to join our clients team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care and practical support to individuals, helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals.
You will work with people who may have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, or other support requirements. Every day will be different, and your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of those you support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs
Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties
Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in activities
Promote independence, dignity, and choice
Maintain accurate records and follow care/support plans
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies at all times
Hold a full UK driving Licence
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
About You
Caring, patient, and empathetic nature
Good communication and listening skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, flexible, and committed
Basic IT skills for record keeping
Previous experience in care/support work is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care) are advantageous
