Are you a caring, reliable person who wants a rewarding role where your work truly matters? We are currently recruiting Domiciliary Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes, helping them live safely, independently and with dignity.
This is more than just a job. You will be a trusted, familiar face to the people you support. For many clients, your visits are the highlight of their day.
About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs. No two days are the same, but duties may include:
* Personal care (washing, dressing and grooming)
* Assisting with mobility and safe transfers
* Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
* Medication prompting or assistance
* Light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
* Shopping and errands
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
You will be working independently in clients’ homes while supported by a friendly and approachable management team.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome both experienced carers and those new to care.
Essential qualities:
* A kind, patient and compassionate nature
* Good communication skills
* Reliability and punctuality
* The ability to work independently
* A genuine desire to help others
Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, healthcare assistant or support work is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required depending on the area.
