Overview
An exciting opportunity to join Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Ward Catering Supervisor. The post will cover Castle Hill Hospital (CHH).
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful post holder will work at Castle Hill Hospital supporting the Patient Meals Services teams.
Responsible for the supervision of catering staff employed in the provision of high quality Patient Meals Catering Services which meet the needs of all patient groups, and fulfil the objectives of the Trust. To promote and maintain best practice in all areas of the Patient Meals Catering Services including the ordering, production, storage and service of patient meals.
Plan daily shifts, which are subject to change. Changes are verbally agreed by line managers during roster planning.
Working ConditionsThe successful post holders will be required to work in an environment with varying temperatures including freezers, and a physical demand of standing and walking for frequent periods of time during the working day is essential.
Hours and FlexibilityThe department operates between 7.30am and 18.30pm 7 days a week. Slight variations to working hours will be discussed with the successful candidates s position covers both sites. Flexibility with working hours is essential and shifts will be agreed in advance and are subject to change.
