Support Worker - Brighton

Job Advert:
Mencap is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Brighton. We have permanent full time and part time positions available (37.5 hours per week). Holding a full UK driving licence is essential; you will be comfortable driving people to various destinations so they can access places they wish to go. At our Brighton service, one home is shared by 3 people and we also support 3 people who live in the community.
You will provide high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, with complex communication needs. Your role is to help people live as independently as possible and to enjoy a great life.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Contract options:
Full time 37.5 hours per week. - Shift times:
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life. - Days:
Between 07:00–22:00. - Sleep-in option available with enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
