Location: Lydd
We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team in Lydd
.
This is a full time role. 40 HR.
£13.45 per hour.
Must be drivers
: 3 years +, Full UK driving license.
- Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents and tenants.
- Provide support with day-to-day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living.
- Help people reach their potential through practical and emotional support.
- Encourage people to live as independently as possible.
- Support tenants in a person-centered way, including personal care, participation in activities and daily living skills.
- Complete daily administration of electronic and paper records.
- Support individuals in maintaining health and wellbeing, liaising with specialists.
- Support and encourage participation and integration in the local community.
- Embed the REACH standards in everyday practice.
- Follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience.
- Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work in a person-centered way.
- Ability to work with people to develop their potential and skills.
- Empathy, understanding and patience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent in verbal and written English.
- Social care qualification desirable, not essential.
