Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person‑centred care and support plans tailored to individual needs
  • Support independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self‑care
  • Promote positive behaviour support (PBS) and emotional regulation techniques
  • Assist with community access and social inclusion activities
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation
  • Work within safeguarding, CQC, and health & social care standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
  • Experience in support work, care assistant roles, or residential care (desirable but not essential)
  • Passion for working in adult social care and autism support
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm, resilient, and patient under pressure
  • Flexibility for shift work, including weekends and sleep‑ins
  • Basic IT skills for care documentation
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
