Personal Assistant – Gordon

A friendly and reliable Support Worker/Personal Assistant is sought to provide support to a lady living in Gordon. This rewarding role involves offering verbal prompting with medication and providing assistance with personal care, helping to promote wellbeing, independence, and confidence within her own home.

The successful candidate will be patient, respectful, and dependable, providing support in a dignified and person‑centred manner. This position would suit someone who enjoys building positive working relationships and making a meaningful difference to an individual’s daily life.

Location: Gordon

Hours: 3.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: 30 minutes per day, ideally between 7:30am and 9:00am

Rate of Pay: £14.05 per hour

Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks pro rata

Subject to satisfactory references and PVG check

Probationary Period: 6 months

• Provide verbal prompting and support with prescribed medication
• Assist with personal care as required
• Promote independence while providing appropriate support and encouragement
• Ensure support is delivered in a respectful, dignified, and person‑centred manner
• Build and maintain a positive and professional working relationship
• Observe and report any concerns or changes in wellbeing as appropriate
• Respect privacy, confidentiality, and personal choice at all times
