Hours - Full-time 7-day service pattern with flexible hours

We are recruiting motivated MRI Radiographers to support the expansion of our MRI services across Sussex. Whether you're developing your MRI skills or looking for a new challenge in a supportive environment, this role offers excellent clinical exposure and development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

You will-

Perform a range of routine MRI examinations

Ensure high image quality and a compassionate patient experience

Administer contrast according to protocols and PGDs

Work collaboratively with senior colleagues across MRI services

Contribute to safe and efficient workflows

Participate in CPD, audit and quality initiatives

Job responsibilities

Clinical

Undertaking a wide variety MRI, CT and Xrays,

Preparing patients for imaging procedures, explains the procedure and ensures that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned.

Ensuring all referrals are justified and provide advise on protocols, if required

Ensuring consistently high-quality images are produced.

Assessing images for quality and clinical significance and escalating urgent findings as necessary.

Administering contrast media in line with PGD guidance, SOPs & protocols.

Responsible for own clinical areas with regard to linen change and cleanliness.

Further Responsibilities

Maintains the highest standards of both practical work and patient care at all times, including patient privacy and dignity. Provide support and reassurance to patients and families.

Maintains own personal continual professional development and a professional portfolio in line with HCPC & CoR recommendations and requirements.

Carry out responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, to have knowledge of supporting policies and safety and to undertake the appropriate level of training for your role.

Qualifications
  • BSC in Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registered
  • Must have 1 year UK experience
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Flexible approach
  • Excellent and professional communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Good organisational skills
Experience
  • Must have 1 year UK experience
