  • Permanent Contract We are looking to recruit a 16-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 550-branch located at 147-149 Elliott Street, Tyldesley, Manchester, M29 8FL
    . The proposed shift pattern is as follows:
    Monday 10:30-14:30 Tuesday 10:30-14:30 Wednesday 10:30-14:30 Friday 13:00-17:00 Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.

This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.

Duties will include the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, you will also have a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.

You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
