£13.70 per hour plus paid breaks

Bank Contract covering shifts of Early 07:45-14:00, Late 13:45-20:00 & long days 07:45-20:00

• Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing and continence care in their own homes within the Village, championing dignity and independence.
• Supporting at mealtimes where appropriate; serving meals in their apartments or within the care home, including assisting with walking, transferring in a wheelchair or using a hoist.
• Promoting mental and physical activity through hobbies, interests or activities within the village.
• Answering emergency calls when the care alert system is activated.
• Collaborating with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals such as GPs, chiropodists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
• Admin duties: keeping accurate records – maintaining full documentation at all times to show care given, activities and any changes to health.

You have experience of working in a care or dementia setting or a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Above all, you are passionate about caring for others, respecting people’s choices and prioritising safety and welfare. You are a great listener with a positive outlook, confident communicating with residents and families, and understand the importance of confidentiality. You are ready to lead by example, support the wider team, and deliver care with dignity and compassion.
