Care Assistant

Location

The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire

• 12‑hour shifts
• Shifts between 8am to 8pm when required

• Part‑Time
• Bank positions

You will assist elderly residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, dignity and respect.

• Assist with personal hygiene, including washing and toilet use.
• Provide dietary and nutritional support.
• Support promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.

• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Previous experience in providing quality care for people.
• Commitment to delivering quality care to vulnerable adults.
• Excellent verbal, written and face‑to‑face communication skills.
• Caring attitude with a desire to help and support others.
• Care home experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to commute within no more than 1hour of the home.
• Required to obtain an Enhanced with Adult Barred DBS disclosure.
