We need a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist who’s passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs.
You will be joining our team on a part time, 16hrs per week basis working across 3 days.

Your Day-to-Day- You’ll be working 16 hours a week
- Provide a specialist Psychology service to residents within Broughton House and Satellites with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Severe Learning Disabilities, and other co‑morbidity presentations, such as mood disorders
- Help individuals and those supporting them to understand their psychological distress, empower them to work towards living a fulfilling life in line with their values and reduce the impact of disorder
- Work as part of an MDT of clinicians and support staff, providing psychological assessments and a range of direct and indirect treatment to the service
- Provide training & supervision to colleagues, and consultation to teams
- Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research
- Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications
- A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience of working with neurodiversity, learning difficulties and/or mental health presentations
- Able to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
- Passionate about working with people with neurodiversity and learning disabilities
- Capable of working with difficulties such as self‑harm, physical & verbal aggression and offending behaviours
- Experienced in the delivery of trauma informed care
- Newly qualified and applicants due to qualify within 6 months are welcome to apply
- Desirable but not essential to have had experience of working in social care and/or mental health settings
