Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic cook to join our happy team at Mains House, a residential care service for 25 older adults. The role requires maintaining high standards of food preparation, menu presentation, and compliance with food hygiene and cleaning regulations.
Responsibilities- Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring quality and correct portion sizes.
- Stock, rotate, store, and record inventory as per management standards.
- Plate meals in an aesthetically pleasing manner following menu choices and dietary requirements.
- Comply with food hygiene regulations regarding handling, storage, and departmental cleaning.
- Sign off cleaning schedules after each area has been cleaned.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing support to staff responsible for residents.
- Adapt to flexible hours between 08:00 and 18:30 over 7 days.
Successful candidate will undergo elementary food hygiene training. Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork are essential.
