In this role you will provide home‑based respite support to carers by delivering person‑centred care to people in their homes. You will travel to rural areas, build strong trusting relationships with people and their families, and support individuals when they need it, including days, evenings and weekends. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns.
About UsCarr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Home‑Based Respite service in the Caithness & Sutherland provides support to carers by giving them a break, while ensuring the people they care for continue to get the help they need at home through delivering person‑centred support.
Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for caring, reliable and motivated individuals who are willing to make a difference in their community. You will receive full training and be supported to achieve an SVQ in Health and Social Care while you work.
You will need a full UK driving licence, as you will travel to support people in rural areas.
Can’t commit to part‑time hours (16‑30 per week)? We have Relief Support Practitioner opportunities available.
