Location: Aldcliffe
Lancashire County Council is hiring a Teaching and Learning Communication Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary aged pupil with a strong Deaf identity at Ripley St Thomas CE Academy. The role focuses on utilizing British Sign Language (BSL) to facilitate communication and learning.
The ideal candidate will ensure that sensory processing differences, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD do not hinder the pupil's achievements, creating a rich learning environment tailored to the pupil's needs. This is a fixed-term position with a notice period.
