Role Summary

Shift Details: 07:00 AM - 19:00 PM at Avery Healthcare. Care Assistant at Birchmere House Care Home, Solihull. Provide high standards of personal care, working with the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Required:

DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents in personal hygiene care, ensuring independence and dignity.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections, and report risks promptly.
  • Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
  • Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.

Additional duties include contributing fully to the care team to maintain continuity of services to residents.
