Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but you will be supporting someone who requires assistance to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role may include assisting them with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants works collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.

His family is very important to him, and he needs his family and support staff to operate as one big team. Harry’s ideal personal assistant is someone who can confidently support him to continue doing the activities he loves and proactively suggest new activities he may enjoy.
