Domestic Assistant – Medirest

A new opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join the Medirest family. You will play a vital role in infection control, ensuring the hospital can deliver its medical services.

• Variable shift patterns.
• High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
• Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full.
• Maintaining high hospital standards by keeping all areas clean, presentable, and safe.
• Using equipment in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.

• Passionate about patient care and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
• Confident working in a hospital environment and aware that contact with patients who are unwell or distressed may occur.
• No prior experience required – pride in work and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check; costs met by the employer.
