Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep
£13.45 to £13.75 per hour – Full Time, day and nights available. Plus an annual location allowance of £1500.
We are a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.
Located in Lydstep, with views of the sea and the rolling Pembrokeshire hills, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive and homely living environment for up to six adults from the age of 18. The main house has four ensuite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a 2-bed self-contained flat. Activities include beach days, cinema trips, swimming, and other leisure activities.
A day in the life of working at Rosendale includes:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Supporting our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence, celebrating achievements and milestones.
- Working together to tailor support to individual needs.
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress and incidents.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
We are looking for people who care and have:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK, with at least 12 months remaining on your visa if applicable.
- No experience required – just passion, patience, and commitment.

This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
