Female Support Worker – Derby, Derbyshire

£13.30 per hour. Permanent full-time or part-time. Full UK driving licence essential.

As a valued Support Worker with Thera East Midlands, you will provide person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities. You will help individuals achieve personal goals, develop new skills, manage daily life and participate in community activities.

• Assist clients in developing and maintaining personal skills for daily living.
• Provide emotional and personal support and help plan and manage home life.
• Support leisure, employment, and individual interests including travel.
• Work with clients in their own homes or in the community.
• Document and report on progress and care plans.

• No previous experience or qualifications required.
• Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter with high motivation and ability to work independently.
• Keenness to learn, solve problems creatively, and embrace the company’s values.
