An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Team. This post offers a chance for a highly motivated and confident OT to work across ward and community settings with a strong enablement focus.

Full time and part time considered.

• Provide occupational therapy services across ward and community settings.
• Supervise and manage the day‑to‑day workload of Band 4 assistants.
• Maintain quality patient care and enablement across East Sutherland, covering Migdale Hospital, Lawson Memorial Hospital and the surrounding rural community.
• Participate in regular supervision, annual appraisal and personal development planning.
• Support student placements within the department.

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Professional Council.
• Broad skill mix with willingness to expand skills in a fully integrated Occupational Therapy setting.
• Effective communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.
