We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering outstanding person‑centred care while providing guidance and leadership to a team of Support Workers.

What You’ll Be Doing- Delivering high-quality, person‑centred care and support
- Supporting individuals to maintain independence, dignity, choice, and control over their lives
- Administering and recording medication safely and accurately
- Providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Support Workers
- Building positive, trusting relationships with individuals, families, and professionals
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and encouraging participation in meaningful activities
- Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, and records are accurate and up to date
- Supporting new starters through induction and ongoing training
- Acting as a key worker and advocating for the needs of individuals
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within adult social care
- Passionate about delivering exceptional care and support
- A confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Able to motivate, support, and develop colleagues
- Organised, professional, and able to prioritise effectively
- Committed to promoting dignity, respect, and person‑centred care
- Flexible and willing to participate in the service rota as required
- Previous experience working within adult social care
- Experience in a senior or lead support role is desirable
- Knowledge of safeguarding and CQC standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate care documentation
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
