Your Role

As a Night Care Assistant
, you ll play an essential role in supporting residents to live independently, comfortably and with dignity throughout the night.

You ll ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for while maintaining a calm and reassuring environment during overnight hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Supporting residents with personal care
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with mobility and responding promptly to residents  needs
  • Carrying out regular welfare checks throughout the night
  • Supporting residents with drinks, snacks and comfort as required
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Administering or assisting with medication (following training)
  • Maintaining accurate care records and handovers
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional overnight care

No two nights are ever the same, making this a varied, rewarding and fulfilling role.
