Clinical Account Specialist – Yorkshire and Tees (Orthopaedics)
Johnson & Johnson Med Tech | Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinical Account Specialist to cover the North & South Tees and Yorkshire region within Sports and Shoulders. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and clinical teams (surgeons and theatre staff) to support the sales of implants and clinical solutions to NHS and private healthcare providers across the UK.
Purposeof the Role
You will focus on building and managing relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and clinical teams that deliver care to patients such as surgeons and theatre teams. Maintain base business while driving growth across specified segments of the portfolio. The Clinical Account Manager bridges the gap between medical products and the healthcare professionals through education, support, and in-depth product and procedural knowledge.
Whatto Expect
- Uncover new opportunities within the sports portfolio aligned with the UK marketing strategy.
- Provide information and training about products, treatments, or services to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective use of products or services.
- Assist in sales efforts and promote new products or clinical solutions.
- Gain feedback and insights from clinical settings to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Reporting into the National Sales Manager.
- Work closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff, Sales team, Marketing team, Commercial team, Medical Education, and Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Experience in orthopaedics/sports medicine and shoulders.
- Solid understanding of theatre environment and the NHS.
- Proven experience in health sciences/anatomy and/or arthroscopy.
- Clinical qualification (e.g., ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy) or a degree/equivalent in science/sports science/business/technology.
- Preferred: pre-identified candidate considered, but all applications will be considered.
