£54,584 - £64,058 (including paid school holidays) + excellent benefits.

Overview

This role is based across Hall Cliffe School in Wakefield and Abbeywood School in Rotherham, 4-days-per-week. We provide unrivalled levels of clinical support for children with developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
  • Deliver individualized interventions and engagement to young people, based on clinical assessment and formulation.
  • Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams about children.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure therapeutic support permeates every aspect of education, care and support.
  • Participate in supervision and clinical development programme for ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counseling Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
  • Specialist with proven skills and experience assessing, formulating and supporting therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to provide clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Confidence and effectiveness as a model, guide, leader and trainer, engaging with colleagues.
  • Commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
