Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable Female Support Worker to support a delightful 20‑year‑old young woman with complex care needs (Kyphoscoliosis) in her own home in Haverfordwest. The client enjoys a calm environment and enjoys spending time reading, watching films and engaging in relaxed activities. This one‑to‑one role offers an opportunity to build a positive, professional relationship and provide person‑centred care that assists her in living safely and comfortably at home.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality personal care and support daily routines to promote independence.
- Assist with evening routines and spend quality time with the client through quiet activities such as reading or watching films.
- Maintain the client’s safety, comfort and wellbeing throughout the shift.
- Work closely with the wider care team while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Adhere to the family’s established household routines and expectations, including wearing a face mask and indoor footwear during the shift.
This role is based in a private family home with well‑established routines and expectations. The family are closely involved in the client’s care, valuing consistency, professionalism and high standards of infection prevention.
Eligibility & Qualifications- Female only – Genuine Occupational Requirement.
- Flexible, reliable, calm, patient, and compassionate.
- Confident working independently in a one‑to‑one setting and comfortable following clear routines and guidance.
- Passionate about supporting people to maximise their independence and quality of life.
- Respectful of different cultures, beliefs and family values.
12‑hour day shifts (9:00am – 9:00pm). Monthly scheduling – let us know your availability and we will work with you.
Remuneration & Benefits- Up to £14.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
