About The Role

Life Practitioners at The Old Vicarage in Swinderby, Lincoln.

We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Practitioners to support individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. The role involves assisting with daily activities and accompanying clients on community trips.

We provide a company vehicle for transportation to shopping, meals, appointments and outings. Qualified drivers must hold a full UK driver’s licence or have 2+ years driving in the UK.

Starting rates:
Level 1 £ 12.71, Level 2 £ 13.10, Level 3 £ 13.60 per hour with potential increases through competency framework.

• Provide essential support to clients with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Assist with daily activities and accompany clients on community trips.
• Transport clients in company vehicle to shopping, meals, appointments and outings.

• Full UK driver’s licence or 2+ years driving experience in the UK.
• Pass enhanced DBS check.
• Strong team player, resilient, confident in asking for support.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Willingness to pursue Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services.
