Job Overview

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities h day involves assisting with personal care, mobility, behavioural support, and expanding social networks to help individuals achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, etc.)
Support mobility and handling activities
Provide positive behavioural support as required
Expand individuals’ social networks and connections
Work with personal support plans to help achieve goals and celebrate successes
Adapt communication style to build successful relationships
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain a positive, flexible outlook to your work

Qualifications and Requirements

No prior care experience required; we value commitment, dedication and transferable skills
Ability to adapt communication style to meet individual needs
Commitment to support individuals through personal support plans
Positive and flexible approach to work
