Assigned Care Assistant

This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop expertise in complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care. You will care for and support people of all ages in the community and in their homes who have spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other complex needs.

• Deliver care to clients in various packages within a 50‑mile radius.
• Work on an on‑call rota across days and nights.
• Assist with mobilisation and set‑up of new care packages.
• Apply skills in complex care interventions including tracheotomy, ventilation support, seizure management, and stoma care.
• Transport clients as required within the 50‑mile service area.

• Must be willing to work a mixture of days and nights and maintain flexible availability.
• Access to a vehicle with a valid driving licence; willingness to drive up to 50 miles to cover multiple care packages.
• Willingly support mobilisation of new care packages within a 50‑mile radius.
• Open to full training and ongoing clinical support.
