Opportunities Available
  • Kitchen Assistant – 40 hours per week (10‑hour shifts, 4 shifts a week, including alternative weekends)
  • Bank Kitchen Assistant – zero hour contract
  • Combination of shift times: 7:30am – 5:30pm and 9:30am – 7:30pm
  • No set shifts, flexible rota
Responsibilities
  • Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensure a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
  • Work as a team player, but also be able to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
  • Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in a catering environment is desirable; prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH is required.
  • Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and caring with empathy for the needs of others.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
