Healthcare Assistant
Location: Telford, TF1
Pay Rate: 14.00 - 16.00 per hour
Shifts: Full-Time Days Monday, Friday & Saturday 7:00am - 10:00pm & 8:00am - 6:00pm

Meet Our Client
We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support a friendly and outgoing gentleman in his own home and within the local community.
He leads a busy and active lifestyle and enjoys making the most of every day. A lifelong Wolves supporter, he loves attending football matches and regularly spends weekends watching Telford League football. He also enjoys pottery, drama, dance, yoga and Funky Friday discos, and is always keen to try new activities.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll support him with his daily routines while encouraging him to remain independent, achieve his goals and continue enjoying the hobbies and activities he loves. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and making a genuine difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality personal care and daily living support
- Supporting community access and social activities
- Driving the client's adapted vehicle to appointments and activities
- Promoting independence and encouraging participation in hobbies
- Supporting with moving around the community safely
- Working closely with the client, family and wider care team
- Delivering person-centred care at all times
Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.
Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our expert in-house Nursing Team.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid care experience within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training.
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence and be confident driving the client's adapted vehicle.
