Salary:£12.80 to £12.80 per hour

• Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and assistance with feeding
• Medication administration
• Assisting and engaging residents in daily activities, hobbies or outings
• Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures
• Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
• Maintaining written daily records
• Attending and completing training, as required

Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful social care worker.

Argyll House provides a safe, supportive, caring and active environment for five men and women with severe learning disabilities and complex emotional and behavioural needs, including those who are non‑verbal. Residents receive personalised support to enable them to live as independently as possible. A bespoke programme of activities, on‑site and in the community, promotes ongoing personal development, including arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, trampolining and a regular coffee club.

Argyll House is located in north Swindon, close to leisure facilities and only two miles from the town centre. The home has its own transport for local outings and excursions further afield.
