Role Overview
Dorset Stroke and Neuro Service (West) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our community based team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide stroke and neuro assessment and rehabilitation to community clients in the home, clinic, group settings and through technology.
- Work independently under supervision, supporting a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Therapy Assistant Practitioners and Stroke and Neuro Navigators.
- Deliver holistic six‑month stroke reviews in clinic and in individuals’ homes.
- Valid right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available.
- Enhanced or Standard DBS check – the Trust will cover the cost.
- Experience in stroke or neurological rehabilitation is preferred.
Verge a fixed‑term role. For current NHS staff the position will be offered on a secondment basis only – please obtain permission to be released on secondment before applying.
