University Hospital Crosshouse – Bank Porter

Flexible availability over 7 days per week, 24 hours a day. Focus on weekend and evening availability. From 1 April 2026, full‑time duties will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week (pro‑rata for part‑time).

The post covers all general portering duties as set out in the attached job description. Duties include transporting patients, equipment and records, providing a safe and efficient service, and supporting clinical staff as required.

Applicants must be physically fit and hold a UK driving licence (full UK/EU/EEA licence). Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but full training will be provided. All new staff will complete Corporate Induction.
