Care Worker – Extra Care Service (Burry Port) We're looking for caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Extra Care team in Burry Port. We have 20-hour, 30-hour, and relief/bank opportunities available. As our service operates 24/7, flexibility is essential. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, waking nights, day centre hours, and alternate weekends. This isn't just a care role, it's an opportunity to have a real impact on people's lives.

Every day brings the chance to help someone build confidence, rediscover an old hobby, achieve a personal goal, or simply enjoy a moment that puts a smile on their face. You could be encouraging someone to join an activity they've avoided for years, sharing stories over a cup of tea, supporting a baking session, leading a quiz, or helping someone remain independent in their own home.

The moments may seem small, but to the people we support, they can mean everything. We're looking for people who bring warmth, positivity, and personality. People who genuinely enjoy connecting with others, who listen, encourage, and find creative ways to make each day engaging and meaningful. You'll be confident working independently while also contributing to a close-knit and supportive team.

Most importantly, you'll understand that great care is about more than meeting needs, it's about helping people feel valued, respected, included, and empowered to live the life they choose. If you're someone who believes that even the smallest act of kindness can change someone's day, we'd love to hear from you.
