Learning Disability Support Worker
Location:
Saint Athan, Wales
Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)
Responsibilities- Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
- Promote independence and encourage development of life skills
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, and team members
- Participate in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
- Support emotional wellbeing and help individuals achieve their personal goals
- Ensure safety, dignity and well-being of all individuals in care
- Observe, monitor and record residents' conditions
- At least 6 months experience working within a social care setting
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work above 24 hours per week
- A driver’s license is essential, with access to your own vehicle for supporting residents in the community
