As a Support Worker in Llantwit Major, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support.

We have both part time (minimum 10hours per week) and full time hours (maximum 40hours per week), please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern could include weekends and sleep-ins

Salary

£13.59per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

What you’ll be doing :

You’ll be joining a dedicated team providing care and support to four individuals in their own home, each with unique needs and personalities. This includes supporting one person who experiences OCD and another who requires some personal care. They enjoy eating out, visiting farms, and gardening at the allotments. While they require minimal support, there may occasionally be some challenging behaviour.

In this role, you’ll help enhance well-being and create meaningful, positive experiences every day. By focusing on what matters most to each person, you’ll make a real difference helping them live fulfilling, independent, and enjoyable lives. This is a rewarding, person‑centred role for someone who values compassion, patience, and making everyday moments remarkable.

No experience required as full training is provided. We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • have patience and empathy
  • can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
  • have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
  • have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
  • have a full driving licence - essential for transporting individuals to appointments and activities
