- Provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with the individual's care plan.
- Support a young person with Autism to participate in activities at home and within the community.
- Encourage independence, communication, social interaction, and life skills development.
- Assist with daily routines while promoting choice, dignity, and respect.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support attendance at recreational, educational, and social activities.
- Monitor the young person's well-being and respond appropriately to changes in behaviour or presentation.
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies and agreed risk management plans.
- Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders involved in the young person's care.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of support provided.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
- Support with community outings and activities while ensuring the young person's safety and well-being.
- Encourage engagement in hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities.
- Promote a calm, consistent, and structured environment that meets the needs of an individual with Autism.
