We are offering an exciting opportunity for registered nurses and midwives who are interested in a career in Health Visiting to undertake the PG Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN, Health Visiting) course at level 11 (masters level) with the University of the West of Scotland. The programme is a blend of theoretical and practice learning and you will be provided with a placement within one of our South Ayrshire health visiting teams with support from a practice assessor and supervisor.

On completion of the programme, you will achieve the standards of proficiency leading to SCPHN registration with the NMC. The programme is full time for 1 year, after which successful completion you will remain in a HV post within South Ayrshire HSCP.
