Purple Rocket Recruitment is working exclusively with a client based in the Leicester area who is looking for Health Care Workers to start asap. We currently have roles within various areas of Leicester.
The Company is a community-based care provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in their own homes. They specialise in helping people maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing through tailored care services, including personal care, companionship, and support with daily living.
They are currently looking for dedicated Health Care Workers to support clients in their own homes. The team is committed to compassion, respect, and reliability, ensuring every client receives care that is responsive to their unique needs.
Here are the requirements for a Health Care Worker;
Essential Requirements
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel between clients)
- Willingness to complete mandatory training (Safeguarding, Medication, First Aid, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Health & Safety)
- Ability to follow care plans, risk assessments, and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
- Trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality
- Comfortable working alone in clients' homes
- Calm and resilient, even in challenging situations
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience in domiciliary or community care
- Experience providing personal care and using moving & handling equipment
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs
- Basic IT skills (for digital care systems or electronic records)
- Awareness of equality, diversity, and cultural needs in care
